About Kenya

I have been a practicing therapist since 1997.  I received my Bachelor's degree from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts and my Master's degree and Ph.D. in Psychology from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.  I am registered as a psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario as well as the State of Illinois. 

In addition to private practice as a Toronto psychologist, I have also worked as a therapist and supervisor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Ryerson University and University of Toronto. .

My professional career has involved teaching courses, providing workshops and doing presentations on differing topics in psychology. I served as a university instructor in several classes including general psychology, psychoeducational programming, career counselling, and general counselling/psychotherapy skills.  I have also presented on stress management, workplace relationships, assertive communication, body image and eating disorders, trauma, suicide, depression, and other common mental health issues.  I continue to welcome opportunities to educate myself and others on the psychological issues that impact people everyday. .
